Volunteering      

You can participate in teaching in the orphanages, schools, women organizations, environmental and health projects, sport coaching, computing, handicapped care, after care work and we can tailor you a project as well. We assist you to contact our country representatives and for a special program package or tasks you can contact us directly as well.

You can also select adventure & community work packages.

 
Volunteer & Internships at Zanzibar
      

Art in Zanzibar volunteering & Internships

Art in Zanzibar Internship projects are taking place at the historic Stone Town and at Mzuri Kaja village at Zanzibar.

We have numerous work placements for practical training for students in areas of education, engineering, medical & health, social sector, business & economical, arts & design, music & theater, music recording, advertising & web page design, hotel and tourism management, marketing etc. We are also able to tailor internship placement upon your specified sector of profession.All projects are in English language.

Typical time of stay is from 2 weeks to 3 months but we can also have longer term interns. The start up and ending dates are tailored for each participant.

The program fee is usd 250 per week for volunteering and usd 260 per week for internships including accommodation, breakfast, airport transports, orientation and start up guidance.

All internship projects are tailored so you need to communicate with us by emailing to info@artinethiopia.org.

Join our cultural adventures
All our adventure programs are part of the community work donation scheme. The small income we earn from the volunteering fees is not enough to develop the programs financially so as a part of the fund raising, when you attend any adventures as Lalibela, Axum or mountain trekking and other adventures you will donate to the community work.

Aside helping at Zanzibar you relax free time visiting the numerous tourism attractions around the Island. At evening times at stone town you find delicious food and plentiful night life. At the villages you can socialize with the friendly Zanzibari people and enjoy better beaches than at the town area.
Adventures      

We arrange cultural wildlife safaris for wildlife lovers and enthusiasts. All safari programs are tailored upon your specific interests. Safari and adventure income is used to develop the community work projects. Also note that the volunteers safaris are special prices about half od the tourist cost to appreciate your work in the projects.
