You can participate in teaching in the orphanages, schools, women organizations, environmental and health projects, sport coaching, computing, handicapped care, after care work and we can tailor you a project as well. We assist you to contact our country representatives and for a special program package or tasks you can contact us directly as well.

You can also select adventure & community work packages.

Our Adventure - Volunteering programs give you a chance to deliver the much needed help at the field and to enjoy Zanzibar and Tanzania as a tourist destination. All adventure income is part of our fund raising for the Community Work.

Small programs

Adventure & Volunteer Zanzibar 10 weeks
This 10 weeks package includes 1 week Kiswahili basic language course, 7 weeks tailored community work, 3 days wildlife safari to World Heritage site Selous, spice tour, stone town tour, visit at the prison Islands and dolphin tour.

You will get a thorough picture of the Zanzibar life in towns and villages. You help within the communities and on and off you have a break at the safaris.

The cost is usd 3,100 for the volunteers and usd 3,200 for the interns for years 2009 and 2010, including airport transfers, accommodation with breakfast, house cleaning, security, 24 hours support, adventures as above, and orientation. You can attend every first Monday of the calendar month

2 Weeks Volunteering - Safari
You volunteer 2 weeks at Zanzibar Islands and thereon include to your package a safari to Selous, Ruaha or a Mt Kilimanjaro climb. The cost with Selous safari is usd 1,100, with Ruaha safari usd 1,400 and with Kilimanjaro climb usd 1,800 for the years 2009 and 2010.

We start the program every first Monday of a calendar month.

Programs      
Aside helping at Zanzibar you relax free time visiting the numerous tourism attractions around the Island. At evening times at stone town you find delicious food and plentiful night life. At the villages you can socialize with the friendly Zanzibari people and enjoy better beaches than at the town area.
Adventures      
We arrange cultural wildlife safaris for wildlife lovers and enthusiasts. All safari programs are tailored upon your specific interests. Safari and adventure income is used to develop the community work projects. Also note that the volunteers safaris are special prices about half od the tourist cost to appreciate your work in the projects.
